BREAKDOWN: BACK TO BACK MVP’S SAY IT ALL FOR KENNEVEN AS THE CAMDEN CATHOLIC PRODUCT PUT ON A SHOW ONCE AGAIN. HE TRIMMED THE DEFENSE FROM ALL THREE LEVELS IN TERMS OF SCORING AND I LOVED WATCHING HIM WORK OFF THE DRIBBLE. HE EASILY GOT RID OF DEFENDERS AND SHOWED SOME EXCELLENT COURT VISION. HE FINIDHED WITH 20 POINTS AND I’M PRAYING CAMDEN CATHOLIC HAS AN OPEN OFFENSE BECAUSE PULLING UP ON LUKE THIS SEASON.

BREAKDOWN: BRADLEY IMPROVEMENT FOR ONE YEAR TO THE NEXT WAS ON DISPLAY AT THIS EVENT. THE NIMBLE FORWARD FINISHED OFF A COUPLE OF PLAYS AND BANGED HOME TWO TREYS ON HIS WAY TO 12 POINTS. IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S NO WHERE BUT UP FOR THIS KID AS HE SEEMS HUNGRY AND WILLING TO WORK ON HIS GAME TO GET BETTER. DON’T BE SURPRISED IF HE BLOSSOMS INTO A DECENT PROSPECT IN THE FUTURE.

NAME: A’ZIR BETHEA

POSITION: COMBO GUARD 

CLASS: 2026 

BREAKDOWN: BETHEA HAS BEEN A SCORER MOST OF HIS YOUNG CAREER AND DIDN’T DISSAPOINT IN THIS EVENT. HE WAS BEAST IN TRANSITION AND EVEN SHOWED SOME RANGE ON HIS OUTSIDE SHOT. HE’S A NATURAL FINISHER EVEN IN TRAFFIC AND THROUGH CONTACT. HE GETS STRAIGHT AT IT AND DOESN’T WASTE TIME AND ENERGY WITH FANCY DRIBBLE MOVES. I BELIEVE THE CORRECT HIGH SCHOOL OPPORTUNITY HE CAN PUT UP SOME SERIOURS NUMBERS. HE FINISHED WITH 16 POINTS IN THE WIN.

BREAKDOWN: DILLON SHOWED SOME FLASHES FROM THE FORWARD POSTION. HE HAS GOOD SIZE AND TOUCH WHILE ALSO HAVING THE WILLINGNESS TO RUN THE FLOOR AND FILL THE LANES. THE MERCER TEAM REALLY DIDN’T HAVE A MATCH INSIDE FOR HIM EARLY ON AND HE TOOK ADVANTAGE. HE FOLLOW UP FLUSH LATE IN THE GAME WAS A TREAT FOR THE CROWD. HE HAS TWO HIGH SCHOOL SEASONS REMAINING TO MAKE A BIG NAME ON THE SOUTH JERSEY SCENE.

NAME: WILL SPROSS 

SCHOOL: ST. JOES ACADEMY 

POSITION: POINT GUARD 

CLASS: 2026 

BREAKDOWN: SPROSS HAD AN OUTSTINDING SHOWING AT THE FAFC. HE PLAYED LIKE HIS REPUTATION WAS ON THE LINE. ON OFFENSE, HE PUSHED THE ROCK, SURVEYED THE FLOOR, DROPPED DIMES AND STILL MANAGED TO FINISH WITH 14 MARKERS. ON THE OTHER END, HE WAS WILLING TO LOCKUP ON BALL HANDLERS FULL COURT AND PLAY THE PASSING LANES. EVEN WHEN THE MERCER TEAM PULLED AWAY SPROSS STILL DIDN’T SLOW DOWN HIS EFFORT. HE CERTAINLY EARNED THE “LORD ICE” SPORTMANSHIP AWARD. COLLEGE COACHES ARE GOING TO LOVE THIS TYPE OF EFFORT.

POSITION: SHOOTING GUARD 

CLASS: 2026 

BREAKDOWN: AS A SCOUT THERE’S NO BETTER FEELING OF SEEING A PLAYER FOR THE FIRST TIME THAT NO ONE REALLY TALKED ABOUT AND ENGLISH-FULTON WAS THAT PLAYER AT THE FAFC. JAYDON WAS A BREATHE OF FRESH AIR, BECAUSE MANY PLAYERS STYLE OF PLAY RESEMBLES THEIR TRAINING TECHNIQUES WHILE FULTON’S RESEMBLED A KID WHO HITS THE PLAYGROUND AND GETS BUSY. HIS NATURAL FEEL FOR THE GAME WAS OLD SCHOOLED WHILE ALSO PACKAGING AN ARRAY OF MOVES. HE CREATED SPACE FOR STEP BACKS AND PULL UPS WHILE ALSO CARRYING DEFENDERS TO THE CUP ON DRIVES. DEFENDERS WERE AT HIS MERCY WHEN HE WAS ATTACKING DOWNHILL. HIS 6’4 SIZE ALLOWED HIM TO SHOOT AND PASS OVER DEFENDERS WITH EASE. HE EASILY GAVE THE BEST PERFORMANCE REGARDLESS OF CLASS IN THIS EVENT. BREAKDOWN: MARTIN IS A COACH’S DREAM BECAUSE HE JUST WANTS TO PLAY HARD AND GET THE JOB DONE. THE SOUTHPAW PLAYED HARD ON BOTH ENDS OF THE FLOOR, OFFENSIVELY HE ATTACKED INSIDE THE FREE THROW LINE AND ALONG THE BASELINE. HE HAS A SERIOUS MOTOR AND SEEMS TO HAVE A NOSE FOR THE ROCK. HE SCORED BY USING A SOFT TOUCH AND AVOIDING SHOT BLOCKERS. ON DEFENSE HE’S ABLE TO GUARD MULTIPLE POSITIONS AND HIT THE GLASS FOR CAROMS. HE FINISHED WITH 10 POINTS IN THE WIN.

BREAKDOWN: BOYD IS ANOTHER SMOOTH GUARD IN THIS TALENTED SOUTH JERSEY CLASS. HE SCORES ON OCCASION WHILE ALSO DRIVING, DRAWING AND DISHING. HE PLAYS WITH COMPOSURE IN TRAFFIC AND FLOURISHES IN THE OPEN FLOOR. FINALLY, HE HAS GOOD RANGE AND CONFIDENCE IN HIS OUTSIDE SHOT. HE SHOULD BE A BIG PART OF THE LENAPE PUZZLE THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS. HE ENDED THE FAFC WITH 12 MARKERS.

HIS SORENESS DIDN’T STOP HIM FOR PERFORMING WELL ON THE STAGE. HE GOT WHERE HE NEEDED TO BE ON THE FLOOR WHILE DROPPING DIMES AND KNOCKED DOWN A COUPLE OF TREY BALLS IN THE PROCESS. HE FINISHED WITH 11 MARKERS AND WILL BE LOOKING TO RUN THE SHOW FOR CAMDEN CATHOLIC IN THE WINTER.

ADEDEJI ADAPTED TO THE SPEED OF THE GAME WHILE ALSO REBONDING AND ALTERING SHOTS ON THE DEFENSIVE END. HE FINISHED WITH 10 POINTS.

HE HAS A GREAT KNACK OF AVOIDING SHOT BLOCKERS BY USING HIS FRAME AS A SHIELD. HE FINISHED WITH 14 POINTS IN THE FIGHT AGAINST FENTANYL CLASSIC.

HE GAVE US A LOOK AT DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF HIS GAME FROM BALL HANDLING, SHOOTING RANGE, COURT VISION AND BODY CONTROL IN TERMS OF FINISHING OFF PLAYS. HE ALSO DIDN’T PRESS HIS INVOLVEMENT, INSTEAD HE LET THE GAME COME TO HIM. HE FINISHED WITH 13 MARKERS AND THE BIG RED AT LAWRENCEVILLE HAS A BUDDING PLAYER IN HODGE.

CHRIS SCORED FROM ALL THREE LEVELS AND CREATED SPACE EASILY OFF THE DRIBBLE. HIS LAYUP PACKAGE WAS POETRY IN MOTION AND HIS GAME IS OOZING IN POTENTIAL. HE FINISHED WITH A GAME HIGH 25 POINTS AND DID IT IN A SPECTCULAR FASHION. ABREU AND JAIMESON YOUNG GIVES CHERRY HILL EAST A SERIOUS PRESENT AND FUTURE.

THE 2ND ANNUAL FIGHT AGAINST FENTANYL CLASSIC RETURNS OCTOBER 20TH AT HOLY CROSS PREP IN DELRAN, NJ. ONCE AGAIN THIS EVENT WILL FEATURE THE TOP HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL PLAYERS IN NEW JERSEY (9TH-12TH) VERSUS THE TOP PLAYERS FROM SOUTH JERSEY (9TH-12TH).
