Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic 7th Grade Division had some exciting players. Here’s our look at the Best Of The Best and All Tournament Team.
Tip Off Classic 7th Grade Best Of The Best
Best Performer: Tyler Sutton (Team Final)- Sutton was outstanding this weekend even with a huge target on his back. His scoring and playmaking ability stood out tremendously.
Best Scorer: Nick Harken (Jersey Ball)- Harken shot over 70% from the field over the weekend. No matter what defense came his way he still managed to find the bottom of the net.
Best Prospect: Sebastian Cotte (NY Lightning)- Cotte has the type of frame and game that catches your eye. I’m anxious to see how he turns out in a few years.
Best Shooter: Anthony Mauro (Jersey Ball)- Mauro can let it go from deep and will heat up quickly. He’s a great deep threat to have on your roster.
Best Playmaker: Peyton Howell (NY Lightning)- Get your popcorn ready when he’s rocking. Howell dazzles the crowd with his game and contains substance.
Best Impact: Nazir Tyler (Team Final)- Tyler gets things done on both ends of the floor. He can score in bunches, rebounds well and has a presence on defense.
Best Floor General: Alex Mazella (Jersey Ball)- Mazella made sure Harken and Mauro ate well over the weekend. His cool and calm demeanor helped them reach the final four.
Best Defender: Ma’khi Richardson (Expressions Elite)- Richardson's rebounding, shot blocking and presence made him a force. We love his energy on the floor.
