Future Phenom Camp Class of 2027 Top Performers Part 3

The Class of 2027 used the Future Phenom Camp to introduce themselves to the world. Here’s our third look at the top performers.

Future Phenom Camp Class of 2027 Top Performers Part 3

Akeem McLaren Forward (NY) – Akeem has good size and knows how to use it around the basket cleaning the glass. Offensively he gets a lot of rebound put backs and defensively he grabs the rebound and can lead the break making the right pass for easy buckets.

Tahir Connor Forward (NJ) – Connor is a long wing that likes to attack the rim from the baseline. He has a quick first step and he rebounds well for his position. He has a nice looking shot that he can knock down with range out to the three point line or a mid-range pull up off the dribble.

Jayden Moton Forward (NJ) – Moton is a high level prospect like his twin brother. He plays with an elite motor and affects the game with a lot of hustle plays. Right now he is at his best in transition or around the basket in the half court. He is a high level rebounder.

Kyle Perez Guard (NY) – Perez is a pint size guard that uses his dribbling skills to gain the right angle on his defender so he can make the high level passes he makes. He is a pass first point guard and this is refreshing in a camp setting that he enjoys getting his teammates involved.

Noreon Martinez Guard (PA) – Noreon is a smaller guard with moves on moves off the dribble which allows him to create space to get open shots. He plays with a high level of confidence and a high basketball IQ.

Jaden Fresh Prince Guard (NJ) – Jaden is a slender quick guard that has very good court vision. When he gets the rock he is a blur from end to end which puts a lot of pressure on the defense. This allows his team to get easy buckets before the defense it set up.
