Hello Basketball Spotlight Family!
It’s Jordan Ghee with my Diary of a Baller Part 7. I hope everyone had a great and safe week.
On Monday, I had school and did my 400’s (sit-ups, push-ups, squats and calf raises). After class, I had a National Junior Honor Society meeting. Once that was finished, I studied for my High School Placement Test (HSPT).
I woke up Tuesday and started my 400’s. After school, I had tutoring for High School Placement Test (HSPT). After studying I had basketball training for an hour. I got up shots, worked on creating space and learned how to control the game pace.
Wednesday, after school I went to my shooting coach’s gym and got on the shooting gun for an hour. After that, I finished my homework and studied.
Thursday afternoon, I had tutoring. I did my homework and I had another basketball workout for an hour. We worked on a series of jab moves and finishing at different angles of the rim.
Friday, I had school and did my 400’s. After class, I had a basketball workout with my shooting coach for an hour. I worked on efficient moves to get to the rim and effective moves for shooting.
Saturday morning, I had practice from 11:00 a.m. ¬– 1:00 p.m. We had a great practice and at the end we scrimmaged a high school varsity team. It was a great experience seeing how fast they play and seeing how fast the game really is at that level. Later that evening, we had some of our family friends over and we played video games.
Sunday morning, I had a workout from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with our PSA trainer and Mekhi Ragland. After my workout, We stayed for an additional workout. Once I got home, I took a practice HSPT test then went over to my friend’s house to play video games.
Thanks for reading. Have a great week.
