Hello Basketball Spotlight Family!
It’s Jordan Ghee with my Diary of a Baller Part 6. I hope everyone had a great and safe week.
First and foremost, I want to wish everyone a Happy MLK Day!
On Monday, I had school and did my 400’s (sit-ups, push-ups, squats and calf raises). After class, I had a National Junior Honor Society meeting. Once that was finished, I joined a Google Meet for my National Latin Exam and we studied for an hour.
I woke up Tuesday and started my 400’s. After school, I had tutoring for High School Placement Test (HSPT). After tutoring, I had basketball training for an hour. I got up shots, worked on footwork and finishing at the rim with contact.
Wednesday, after school I had training with my shooting Coach for an hour. I also worked on my handles and increasing my range. After that I, finished my homework.
Thursday, it was my Birthday! After school, I had a workout later that day. After my training, my family and I went to dinner at a restaurant named Houston’s.
Friday, I had school and did my 400’s. After class, I had two games in New York with the PSA Cardinals. We won both of our games. Overall, I played well, but there is still room for improvement.
Saturday morning, I had tutoring for the HSPT. Afterwards, I relaxed for a little bit in my room before playing video games with my dad. I had Saturday night off!!!
Sunday morning, we had practice from 11;00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. I had a great practice and worked on some things I wanted to improve. After practice, some of us stayed a little longer to play pick-up with some older guys. Once we got home, I played Madden with my dad and then finished my homework. I’m going to bed early tonight because my team (PSA cardinals) is in the championship tomorrow.
Thanks for reading. Have a great week.
