Spring Invitational 7th Grade Top Performers Part 2
Naiim Parrish Guard (NJ Bulldogs)- Parrish played double duty for the Bulldogs (7th and 8th). He was spectacular in his 7th Grade outings. He used a unique scoring style including his ability to score around the cup. He has a precise handle which allows him to score or set up teammates for buckets. He pumped in over 20 points in numerous games.
Alex Grospe Guard (NJ Bulldogs)- Grospe is just a pure sniper. He will let it go from anywhere and showed it throughout the weekend. He nailed 4 treys against Team Jacko and another 4 versus the NJ Playaz in the semi-finals.
Brandon Russell Guard (NJ Bulldogs)- Russell also got into the scoring column from deep also. He got good size which allows him to play multiple positions on the floor. I remember him rocking with FCP and now looks like he found a great home with the NJ Bulldogs.
Aliahnal Best Guard (NJ Bulldogs)- Best exploded on day 1 with an 18-point performance in their pool play win over the T Town Ballers. He didn’t play Sunday due to other obligations but he left an impression on us.
AJ Dynasta Forward (Expressions Elite)- Dynasta hit the national scene last summer after his performance after the Future Phenom Camp. He averaged over 20 points this weekend and showed that he was one of the top forwards in the country. His versatility over shadows many of his peers. This kid can really go.
Devan Williams Guard (Expressions Elite)- Williams runs the point but can also score the rock. He showed his outside shooting prowess versus Westchester Athletics by knocking down 3 treys. He finished the contest with 18 points.
Amare Marshall Forward (Expressions Elite)- Marshall is another wing forward with this Expressions squad. He also got into action over the weekend. He can defend multiple positions and help out on the boards.
