What’s Up Spotlight World, 

It’s Kabrien “The Boss” Goss and here’s how my week went. Monday, I went to school and afterwards went to the gym to work out. It was a very hard workout and I noticed a lot about my game. Tuesday, after school I had AAU practice and scrimmaged against our freshman team. They were bigger than us and stronger than us but we battled as best as possible. 

Wednesday, school seemed to be short and I took this as a rest day. After I finished my homework and make up work I went to sleep. Thursday was my last day of school for the week and it seemed to be the longest. Everybody was talking about the new online courses and stuff but me? I was just ready to get out that school. After school I got home and worked out in my room. The weekend was tough considering almost everything was closing. But of closure I got in the gym and confused to push myself. Sunday, I got him super sore and took a bath in Epson Salt.

Cadeau and Pettiford The Best Back Court In America?

The Basketball Spotlight Spring Invitational received some buzz once QB Elite finished their 3:00 PM  match-up with eventual champion Wiz Kids. The buzz was that QB Elite back court of Elliot Cadeau and Tahaad Pettiford was ripping up the competition. Cadeau was showing extreme court vision and Pettiford was launching bombs. This buzz picked up more steam as QB Elite mercy ruled loaded Expressions Elite. After that game the buzz turned into statements such as Cadeau and Pettiford being the best back court in the country.

The Basketball Spotlight Memorial Day Classic will be returning May 23rd and 24th at Hoop Group in Neptune. This event will bring together some of the top teams in the region. Make sure you register early because this event will sellout just like last summer. Use the links below to register.

From The Director’s Desk Feat: Fran Nicolas (NJ Scholars)

Every so often a new team pops on the Spotlight scene and heavy expectations. This year NJ Scholars seem to be that squad. They are new to the Nike circuit and also participated in the Spotlight tournaments.
