Basketball Spotlight Future Phenom Camp Returns!

The 7th Annual Basketball Spotlight Future Phenom Camp returns to Sportika in Manalapan, NJ August 22nd and 23rd. This event has been rated the #1 camp in American in terms of talent and coverage. Last summer more than 350 players convened to Sportika for a thrilling weekend. This year we expect another sellout so make sure you register early. The registration information is below.

Basketball Spotlight hosted the 2nd Annual Paul Pintella Jr. Memorial Classic took place this past weekend in Hamilton, NJ this event had some of the top middle school basketball teams in the region. Here is Part 1 of our top performers.

Paul Pintella Jr. Memorial Classic Championship Recap: St. Peters Just Too Much!

St. Peters (Delaware)

St. Peters from New Castle, Delaware used their size and pressing style to defeat Foundation Academy (Trenton, NJ) 65-32 to win the 2nd Annual Paul Pintella Jr. Memorial Classic Championship. 

Hunter Jackson scored 17 points and Justin Lawrence added 13 markers for the winners, while Isiah Barthold chipped in 17 points for the Knights in the loss. Basketball Spotlight would like to congratulate both teams for a great showing over the weekend.

Breakdown: Chidi’s squad didn’t fare they well be he had an impressive weekend. The nice sized two guard collected 28 markers versus Riverside Hawks and erupted for another 26 points against NJ Shore Shots. Nwigwe knows how to pump in buckets and have been doing this since he entered the Basketball Spotlight arena.

Breakdown: Meeks is a wing/forward who can play inside and out. He’s athletic with a nonstop motor and an emerging skill set. Meeks can take you to the blocks or go off the bounce. He’s has a deadly combination that will serve him well on the high school next year.

This event will feature eight middle/grammar school teams playing in a single game elimination tournament. The winner of the event will be presented the Paul Pintella Jr. Championship banner to hang in their gym. Tournament information is below;
