Super Skillcase Returning November 16-17 To Sportika
The Super Skillcase is directed by world-renowned skills coach Micah Lancaster and is a one of a kind of exposure event with Mike Melton's Basketball Spotlight. The Skillcase features the same advanced teaching and instruction that he offers to all of his NBA, college, and high school All-Americans, but broken down to a form that all players can handle. Micah will be unveiling new curriculum at this event that he used with Kyrie Irving, Vic Oladipo, Karl-Anthony Towns and along with 8 years of the best grassroots talent to come through the Spotlight circuit. All players receive Micah's innovative skill training and teaching techniques which is designed to make players feel like they are alone in the gym with Micah. Players will also have competitive 5-on-5 games in the afternoon under the watchful eye of Mike Melton's Basketball Spotlight. Special features of the 2019 event include a high resolution portrait photo shoot, gear, and the convenience of Sportika in Manalapan, NJ. The event is for players 5th grade through 12th grade boy and girls. Be there and “Skillcase" your talents while improving your skills like never before!

Basketball Spotlight 8th Grade Seminar/Showcase (November 2nd)
On November 2nd, Basketball Spotlight will be presenting the Inaugural 8th Grade Seminar/Showcase. This event will be limited to 60 Top 8th Graders (Class of 2024). The participants will play in two games in front of scouts and all the top high school coaches in the region. More importantly, the players will participate in three seminars which include;
• Impact Of Social Media In Terms of College Basketball Recruiting
• Substance Abuse Awareness
• NCAA Clearing House Eligibility
Basketball Spotlight feels that these topics are important as these youngsters/prospects are about to hit high school where these decisions can affect their lives forever. We also would like to extend the opportunity for these prospects to play in front of the top coaches in the region.

Christian Pierre-Louis (NJ)- Pierre-Louis is lefty guard with a strong body. Christian uses his body to get to the rim and finish. He has serviceable jump shot that showed that he can knockdown when open. We look forward to seeing the continued growth of Christian.

2018 Honorees
Basketball Spotlight and AGame Team Apparel have come together again to honor breast cancer survivors and to showcase the top basketball talent in the Northeast, United States. This event will take place October 26th and feature the top 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade players in an all-star game format.
Last year's event was a big success as we honored six women and had three games in which the young players played their hearts out. We also provided halftime entertainment and gifts. Please feel free to contribute to this cause as all proceeds will be used for the honorees and players of this event. Use the link below to help the cause. Mason Piorkowski Guard (NJ)- Mason is small but crafty guard that can create space to get his shot off. You cannot leave him open because Mason is deadly shooter from the outside. He also capable of giving crisp passes to his teammates for easy baskets.

The Class of 2023 participated in their final Spotlight event at the Future Phenom Camp. Here are the top performers from this event.
Future Phenom Camp Class of 2023 Top Performers Part 1
Akil Watson Guard (NY)- Watson is 6’7 wing and was our most efficient player. Watson is a willing passer that puts his teammates in easy positions to score; His length makes it easy to shoot over shorter defenders. Watson can score from all three levels and with his improved athleticism. That helps him finish at the cup with ease. Akil was selected as the camp MVP and Best Prospect because of his well rounded game. In the upcoming future we see Watson moving to the lead guard position. He will also be one of the top prospects in the class when the national rankings come out. Watson will be attending the prestigious Don Bosco Prep NJ as an incoming freshmen.
