Super Skillcase Profile: Jayda Johnson (Farmington, CT)
Position: Forward
Class: 2023
Hometown: Farmington, CT
Breakdown: The sky is the limit for this young lady. She has the size and skill set to be a big-time recruit in the future. Her jump shot was fluid and she was able to create off the bounce. She was able to score even when they moved her to boy’s division. Remember this name because she will be very good.

Position: Forward
Class: 2023
Hometown: Jersey City, NJ
Breakdown: Lane played good defense on the post. He contested many shots while blocking or altering attempts. He moved his feet well and ran the floor good on the offensive end. He’s still developing on offense but should be okay down the road.

Super Skillcase Profile: Saeed St. Fleur (Roselle, NJ)
Position: Point Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Roselle, NJ
Breakdown: Once Saeed put the defenders on his hip it was over. He carried them to the basket and scored through contact. He attacked the rim Khalid El Amin style. The big guard is light on his feet with deceptive speed. I really couldn’t gauge his outside shot I will be looking for that next time I check him out.

Position: Combo Guard
Class: 2024
Hometown: Hershey, PA
Breakdown: Kopcha finished in transition well and looked good in the half court set. I really was impressed with him to the defensive end especially how he played the passing lanes. He took pride in locking in on defense.

Super Skillcase Profile: William Mutts (Mount Laurel, NJ)
Position: Forward
Class: 2023
Hometown: Mount Laurel, NJ
Breakdown: Mutts was a high energy athlete that runs rim to rim in a blur. He lived around the tin in terms of rebounds and getting put backs. He does have the ability to make plays for himself but needs to develop it a little more.

Position: Forward

Hometown: Elizabeth, NJ
Breakdown: Barnett is like the energizer bunny. He goes hard on the glass and on the defensive end. I like how he filled the lane on the fast break for buckets. He’s a glue type player that many teams would love to have.

Breakdown: Perhaps the most efficient players in the building, Stanford doesn’t go outside his game to get results. He looks good from the foul line in and along the baseline. He has a nose for the ball and a knack to score. I see his game extended more on the perimeter in the near future. He will be touring the circuit with Philly Triple Threat.

Position: Combo Guard

Hometown: New Milford, NJ
Breakdown: Brown is a skilled ball handler that lives to get in the lane. Once inside he converts with floaters and scoop shots. I would like to see him trust his teammates a little more by adding some drive and kick to his game. Otherwise he looks to be an impact guard on the 7th Grade level.

Position: Shooting Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Newark, NJ
Breakdown: Bailey is very skilled in terms of ball handling and finishing with both hands. She has a strong frame so she knows how use it to score on taller shot blockers. She knows her why around floor and performed well even when she was moved to the boys division.

Super Skillcase Profile: Montique Nedd (Ridgefield, NJ)
Position: Point Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Ridgefield, NJ
Breakdown: This lefty possesses get dribble moves when attacking defenders. His go to move was a hesitation crossover which allowed him to get into the lane whenever he wanted. He scored with some pretty layups. I don’t know who he plays AAU for but someone needs to pick him up.

Position: Shooting Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Galloway, NJ
Breakdown: What impressed me about this guard was his strength, leaping ability and rebounding effort. He posted up smaller guards and jumped over them for buckets. On defense he was able to steer ball handlers wherever he wanted. He’s a little under the radar now but that’s not for long.

While 6th Grade (12U) Orange, 7th Grade (13U) Orange, 8th Grade (14U) Orange will play at Hoop Group Headquarters and should use the Neptune Hotel.
Blue Division teams are usually by request or first time Basketball Spotlight Participants.

Super Skillcase Profile: Luke Schorr (Rumsom, NJ)
Position: Combo Guard
Class: 2025
Hometown: Rumson, NJ
Breakdown: Schorr is a scrappy guard that not only can hit the outside shot but can also drive the ball and create plays. I’ve seen his game grow over the last few events he has attended and he had this confidence on full display at the Super Skillcase. He was in attack mode and looked very comfortable on the floor.
Super Skillcase Profile: Keion Elliott (Egg Harbor, NJ)
Position: Point Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Egg Harbor, NJ
Breakdown: Elliott had an attacking style off the dribble that helped him get in the lane. He knew how to create separation from defenders and create plays for himself and teammates. I also think he has a few inches to add to his frame which would make him a more intriguing prospect.

Position: Point Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Souderton, PA
Breakdown: Picture former 76ers point guard Eric Snow. Purvy is very efficient, takes good care of the rock and doesn’t turn the pill over. He ran the show and looked good in the pick and roll type offense. On the other side of the ball he moved his feet week and gave a great effort.

Hometown: Forked River, NJ
Breakdown: Buxton had good size for his position and played with some flair to his game. His confidence spilled over to the scoring column also as he was able to get some buckets. I think he surprised a few defenders with his ability to attack and his array of dribble moves.

Breakdown: The guard was shifty and quicker than he looks. I like his mid-range pull up and his extended range. He maneuvered around defenders with a low dribble. He took the drive up from Virginia and didn’t waste his money.

Breakdown: When Goss jump shot is falling like it was at Sportika it makes him difficult to contain. It draws the defense out and gives him more room to attack. When he gets that room, he uses his explosive drives to get to the rim. On defense he moved his feet well and caused some turnovers.

Breakdown: In an event where most players are trying to score points Bisono used this showcase to show off his passing skills. He threaded the needle on several occasions while hitting teammates on the dime. His slick handle kept defenders guessing and his teammates were helping running with this kid.

Breakdown: Dawkins used the Super Skillcase as his ultimate playground. He has supreme quickness and explodes up with the best of them. His dribble moves along the baseline is something to watch. He had several defenders shaking in their boots. On defense he locked down like a pit bull. He relentless on both ends of the floor.

Position: Point Guard
Class: 2024
Hometown: Rockville, MD
Breakdown: Patrick continued his good play from the Future Phenom Camp. He played a little more of the point at this event. He took care of the rock and made some good decisions in terms of distributing the rock. He crafty and knows how to get where he needs to get on the floor.

Position: Shooting Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Monmouth Beach, NJ
Breakdown: After George showed his outside touch he proved he could also put it on the deck and drive to the cup. He had a strong frame that helped him absorb contact before finishing. I look forward to watching him play for the NJ Shore Shots.

Breakdown: Once Johnson gets going downhill good luck trying to stop him. When he gets in the lane he uses his body control to shield shot blockers and absorb contact. He was able to put together a bunch of buckets in a row. He definitely has a scoring mentality and bucket getter. Philly Triple Threat will love him on the circuit.
Super Skillcase Profile: Dwayne DJ Snead (Bensalem, PA)
Position: Point Guard
Class: 2024
Hometown: Bensalem, PA
Breakdown: Snead is a joy to watch especially when he pushing the rock up the floor and making plays. The southpaw can dribble through the defense before using a floater or dropping a dime. As his game matures he will learn to not tease defenders instead and giving them a chance to retreat. I can’t wait to see this youngster during the circuit. He's exciting!

Position: Forward

Hometown: Pennsauken, NJ
Breakdown: Hidalgo has become a hot name since the Future Phenom Camp and he kept this momentum going during the Super Skillcase. He showed more quickness in this event and we got the chance to see him run the point. With the rock in his hands he made it his business to spoon feed teammates with look away passes. He made it look easy in the scoring column also.

Position: Point Guard
Class: 2024
Hometown: Wilmington, DE
Breakdown: Well it was another stellar performance from the Delaware product. His wiry from helps him stretch out for buckets. He’s strong enough to break through the first line of defense and smart enough to make the right decision in the lane. This kid has winner tatted all over him.

Position: Forward
Class: 2025
Hometown: North Brunswick, NJ
Breakdown: Harris toyed with the competition in his first outing, He seemed a little more intrigued when he matched up against Hidalgo. It’s apparent that Harris has been working on his ball handling and footwork. He seems to be making that transition to the wing comfortably. He once again had a dominant performance.
Super Skillcase Profile: Issac Hester (Ocean, NJ)
Position: Shooting Guard
Class: 2023
Hometown: Ocean, NJ
Breakdown: Hester used a mean crossover to get rid of defenders all day. He smoothness and feel for the game was on full display. He was a match up problem because he could muscle smaller guards and dribble past helping forwards. He also had the ability to score at will. I look for him to have a breakout year on the Spotlight circuit with SBA Elite.

Top Players Flock To Super Skillcase!
Some of the top middle school players in the region have committed to the Super Skillcase. Will Norman, Cian Medley, Brian Dawkins, Rahmir Barno, Zion Stanford, Jebron Harris, Dylan Seay, Samir Thomas, Mike Jones Jr., Samaj Long, Tai Turnage, Judah Hidalgo, and many more.
The 2018 Super Skillcase presented by Micah Lancaster’s I’m Possible and Mike Melton’s Basketball Spotlight returns with the middle school day and the high school day. Train with Micah Lancaster’s elite skills training in the morning session and compete in the afternoon session with 5 on 5 game play. During the Skillcase Lancaster offers the same advanced teaching and instructions that he offers to his NBA, College and High School All Americans but broken down so any player can handle it.

Train with Micah Lancaster’s elite skills training in the morning session and compete in the afternoon session with 5 on 5 game play. During the Skillcase Lancaster offers the same advanced teaching and instructions that he offers to his NBA, College and High School All Americans but broken down so any player can handle it.
