Future Phenom Camp Class of 2024 Top Performers Part 3

AJ Swinton

The Basketball Spotlight Future Phenom Camp Class of 2024 featured some of the best prospects in the entire event. Here is Part 3 of our top Performers.

Future Phenom Camp Class of 2024 Top Performers Part 3

AJ Swinton Guard (Maryland)- Swinton finished on the All Camp Team and it was well deserved. He was a total scoring machine and can get it done from all three levels. His explosiveness stood out especially when attacking in transition. I love his motor and upside especially for his position. The DMV is a basketball hub and Swinton will be another name to know for the future.

Drake Powell Guard (North Carolina)- If there was a quicker guard in the building I see didn’t see him. Powell has blazing speed and will cut you deep with his crossover. He has total confidence in his game and loved getting opposing guards isolated on an island. He proved to have good finishing skills even over bigger defenders in the paint.
Bryson Brown Guard (New York)- Good luck trying to keep this guard out the lane. He’s built like a mack truck so he can carry defenders or cross and blow past you. When he’s playing down hill especially in transition most defenders be at his mercy. When scoring a demonstrates good body control and touch. His play earned him a spot in the AGame All American Game.
Ronald Richardson Jr. Forward (New Jersey)- Richardson Jr. is a Charles Barkley type. He has the size to bang inside while scoring and rebounding. But he can also step outside and knock down the jumper to keep the defense honest. He’s a good versatile piece to add to any squad.
RJ Jones Guard (New York)- Another guard that showed big time improvement from last summer was Jones. Jones showed more confidence on the floor as the scrappy guard was capable of playing either position. He operated good with the ball in hands by either scoring or passing. On defense Jones will get after ball handlers using good lateral movement. He also played in the AGame All American Game.
Nico Pena Guard (New York)- Respect this kid’s game or you will get torched. He can beat you off the bounce and score from anywhere in the gym. I love his swagger and willingness to attack any defender. He represented the Big Apple well and played in the AGame All American Game.
