Basketball Spotlight 8th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
The Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic is in the books so we decided to release our first Top 10 team rankings of the season. These rankings are based on team’s performance in our events and others.
Basketball Spotlight 8th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. Riverside Hawks: The Hawks check in at the top spot as they shocked the field and ran through the Tip Off Classic. Their guard play was outstanding as they knocked off some of the giants in the region.
2. Team Loaded DC: The Tip Off Classic runner up has a top-notch roster and played some of the best defense over that weekend. They will be heading to the Clash For The Cup for a chance at the banner.
3. NY Gauchos: The Choz have one of the best squads in the region. They had a deep semifinal run during the Tip Off Classic before losing in overtime against Team Loaded. They are a dangerous ball club.
4. Team Final: TF made a final four run at the Tip Off Classic before losing to eventual champion Riverside Hawks. They have some of the best talent in the region so we know we haven’t seen the last of this group.
5. NJ Bulldogs: The Bulldogs are loaded with talent and was one of the favorites to win it all. They came up short after a tough loss to champion Riverside Hawks. We will see them at the Clash.
6. NY Rens: The NY Rens were without a few of their studs and ended up losing to Team Loaded on Sunday morning. They will be out for blood during the Clash For The Cup.
7. NJ Playaz: The Playaz have one of the meanest back courts in the region. We expect them to make a deep run at the Clash For The Cup.
8. Team Rio National: TRN has the tools to be good team as they showed flashes during the Tip Off Classic. They also will be at the Clash For The Cup.
9. NY Lightning: The Lightning are always a scrappy squad and now they have added some size. They are a team they can’t be slept on.
10. PSA Cardinals: The Cardinals will be looking to make a better showing at the Clash For The Cup. They have the ability to run the table any given weekend.
