Basketball Spotlight 6th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
The Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic is in the books so we decided to release our first Top 10 team rankings of the season. These rankings are based on team’s performance in our events and others.
Basketball Spotlight 6th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. NY Gauchos (Black)- The Choz used a balanced attack to storm through the Tip Off Classic. They knocked off some of the top teams in the region. They will be looking to add another banner at the Clash For The Cup.
2. JC Boys Club: The Hudson Country crew made a name for themselves at the Tip Off Classic. They lost in the finals to eventual champion NY Gauchos but defeated some great teams on their way. They are scheduled for the Clash For The Cup.
3. Fidonce Basketball: Fidonce gave JCBC all they could handle before losing in the semifinals. They have enough guns to bring home the banner in the Clash.
4. NJ Bulldogs: The Bulldogs did damage in the Tip Off Classic before falling in the semifinals. They also have a date at the Clash in the end of January.
5. Playtime Panthers: The Panthers will be entering the Clash after a quarterfinal outing in the Tip Off Classic. If they get hot they can knock off any team in front of them.
6. Riverside Hawks: The Hawks opened some eyes with some impressive play during the Tip Off Classic before losing to Fidonce. They will be at the Clash ready to rock.
7. Ring City: The North Jersey crew was a pleasant surprise during the Tip Off Classic. They made a quarterfinal run before losing to NJ Bulldogs.
8. Rising Stars Elite: This hungry bunch also made a quarterfinal run during the Tip Off Classic. They have some interesting pieces and we should see them again very soon.
9. NY Gauchos (Orange)- The other Choz squad took home the Blue Division title. They also have some serious talent and will be a team to watch out for.
10. Middletown Finest: The boys from upstate NY also caused a stir in the Blue Division before losing to the Choz (Orange) in the finals. Hopefully we will send them again soon.
