Basketball Spotlight 5th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
The Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic is in the books so we decided to release our first Top 10 team rankings of the season. These rankings are based on team’s performance in our events and others.
Basketball Spotlight 5th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. Silverbacks Nationals: The Silverbacks won the Tip Off Classic in thrilling fashion with a one- point victory over the NY Gauchos (Mitchell). They will be returning to the Spotlight for the Clash For The Cup.
2. NY Gauchos (Mitchell): The Choz had a memorable Tip Off Classic before losing a heart breaker to the Silverbacks in the championship. We hope to see this talented group at the Clash For The Cup.
3. NY Gauchos (Croft): The Choz (Croft) made a final four run at the Tip Off Classic before losing to the Gauchos (Mitchell) squad. They will be at the Clash making a move for the banner.
4. NY Rens: The Rens are always ready to rumble and showed that with a final four appearance at the Clash. They are a top team that we will be following closely.
5. New Heights: NH did enough damage before losing to eventual champion Silverbacks National in the quarterfinals. They have a great group and will be returning to the Spotlight soon.
6. Team Durant: The DMV boys brought their game to the Tip Off Classic before losing at the quarterfinals to NY Gauchos (Croft). They have guaranteed another appearance at the Spotlight.
7. NJ Bulldogs: The Garden State boys showed some promise and have one of the most talented crews in the region. They also will be returning the Spotlight in the near future.
8. Team Jacko: The Philly based squad made their Spotlight debut at the Spotlight had impressed us. They made it to the quarterfinals before losing to the NY Gauchos (Mitchell).
9. 845 Elite: The upstate New York squad took home the Blue Division crown. We will be looking for this team to return Spotlight very soon.
10. King Street Kings: KSK seems to back in the Spotlight after finishing runner up for the Blue Division crown. They will be returning to the Spotlight for the Clash.
