The 7th Grade Division at the Tip Off Classic was one of the most competitive brackets in thus event. Here’s a look at the Best Of The Best and All Tournament Team.
Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic 7th Grade Best Of The Best
Best Performer: Jonathan Lamothe (Team Thrill)- This kid had a huge weekend and looks to be a big time prospect down the road. He gets it done from all three levels.
Best Prospect: Akil Watson (East Coast Elite)- Watson looked good all weekend and his body seems to be stretching out. We look for him to have a breakout season.
Best Scorer: Rashan Locke-Hicks (Fidonce)- Locke-Hicks was a dynamic scorer and gets buckets in a hurry. He averaged over 20 markers a CONTEST.
Best Playmaker: Mason Piorkowski (NJ Playaz)- Mason put on a show during the Tip Off Classic. He can maneuver around any defense in the land.
Best Shooter: Justin Bonsu (East Coast Elite)- Bonsu range is from the parking lot. He shoots it at a high percentage.
Best Floor General: Naazir Robinson (New Heights)- Robinson ran the show for New Heights like a true quarterback.
Best Defender: Jaiden Williams (New Heights)- Williams can defend all five positions on the floor. He seems to love to lock up on defense.
Best Fresh Face: Mike Williams (Team Thrill)- Williams was a pleasant surprise for the Maryland squad. Hopefully we get to see him again.
