My Future Phenom Camp Experience Feat: Jaden Springer (North Carolina)
Few youngsters have burst onto the national scene like Jaden Springer. The North Carolina product recently won the 5th Grade AAU National Championship and led his 6th Grade team to National runner up in Hampton, Virginia. After that Springer challenged himself with a visit to the Future Phenom Camp in which he proved why he is one of the best. He finished as the MVP of the Class Of 2020. We got a chance to talk to Jaden and here’s what he had to say.

BS: What was your mindset going into the camp?
JS: I wanted to dominate and work hard in the drills so I can get better.
BS: How did you like the drills session?
JS: I think the drill session was great because I learned a lot of new things that I can take home and work on.
BS: Who was the best player you faced at the Future Phenom Camp?
JS: I say Jordan Toles because he was bigger and stronger than everyone else in our age group. It was a great challenge playing against him.
BS: What was your favorite aspect of the camp?
JS: The games because we got chance to battle against the other top players in the country.
BS: How does the Future Phenom Camp stack up against other camps you have attended?
JS: It has to be the best because I didn’t attend many big camps but this one had so much talent and was very competitive.
BS: Give me one word to describe the Future Phenom Camp.
JS: Competitive
