Grand Finale 5th Grade Preview and Prediction
The MDC and NJ State Champs come into this event has one of the favorites. They ran the table at the Memorial Day Classic by defeating squads with a large margin of victory. Young for Tristan Jeffries is trying to separate himself from others in his class. This could the stage for him to get it done. If they keep the momentum going they could win it all.
The Mid Atlantic Champions bring some experienced guard play and a developing big man to the picture. Nasir Cowan runs the show and Jordan Logino is the leading scorer even though he comes off the pine. Forward Keshon Griffen plays his role on both ends of the floor. The have a good shot of taking home the banner.
The Delaware based crew has one of the most dynamic guards in the region in Omari Banks. If he can catch fire like he did during the Mid Atlantic Regionals they could actually spoil the party. Keep a look out for these boys especially when #10 has the pill.
Hilltoppers Heat:
HH is looking for another shot at Team Nation after losing to them during the NJ State Championships. They actually might get their shot during this one. They two key guns are Jaden Pierre and Ray Ford. If they are clicking the banner could be heading up North Jersey.
Prediction:
Team Nation and Team Final both advance to the championship round. In the finals Team Final guard play is too much and they pull off the victory and take the banner home. Team Final 2014 Grand Finale Champs.
