Seth Lundy (#1 7th Grade In DE)
During the Basketball Spotlight 2013-2014 season the faithful from Delaware continuously asked me if I saw 7th grader Seth Lundy and explaining how good this youngster was. If anyone knows me they know I need to see the prospect first before I give my analysis. Then the MDC rolled around and Lundy entered the building with the WE R 1 crew and showed me what he had. If I could name a player he reminded me of it was a young Grant Hill. Lundy is fluid, shows athleticism and can create his own shot. His coach Kevin Murray loves his all-around game. “I love that Seth has an extremely high motor and always leaves everything on the floor. He is a great shot blocker, rebounder and finishes everything around the basket. He’s definitely an inside/outside scoring threat. But most importantly he’s a High Honor student in the classroom” said Murray.
While some coach’s would let Lundy rest on the laurels of his early achievements, Murray knows the road is long and understands that the Delaware youngster needs work. “He needs to work on his ball handling, passing and 3 point range. If he gets everything in place I believe he has high major division one potential” he finished.
You can get a good look at Lundy as he joins the rest of the top players in the country at the Basketball Spotlight Future Phenom Camp August 23rd and 24th in District Heights, MD. Don’t miss this action it’s sure to be a dandy.
