Basketball Spotlight Final 5th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. CJ Hawks: The Hawks lost in the semifinals of the Grand Finale but they put together a terrific run that included winning two Spotlight championships. This run earned them the #1 spot in our final rankings.
2. Gauchos: The Choz didn’t participate in the Grand Finale but they did have two Spotlight titles to their name. They were a very impressive team to watch.
3. King Street Kings: KSK crashed the party at the Grand Finale while taking home the banner. They have a very talented up and coming bunch.
4. Team Glory: TG finished the season with a semifinal loss in the Grand Finale Final Four. They were totally a joy to watch last year.
5. Leesburg Academy: Leesburg didn’t have a Spotlight title but they made a good AAU Nationals run while finishing #7 in the country.
6. Nations Basketball Academy: NBA made it to the finals of the Grand Finale. They had a few successful runs but never quite got over the Orange Division hump.
7. Team Takeover: TT got things going late in the season and should carry that momentum over into next year.
8. RIP City: RC had their moments but never showed the dominance they did at the 4th Grade level. We look forward to seeing them in the 2013-2014 season.
9. Team Phenom: Team Phenom made some noise from the Philly area. It will be interesting to see how they look nest season.
10. Team DEMI: The New England made a good push. They should only be better when next year rolls around.
