Deondre Vilmer Gaining International Experience
8th Grade Deondre Vilmer of Team Final is competing with the Bahamas at the FIBA America’s U16 Championships. Vilmer scored 13 points in his team’s first game loss to Argentina. Next up is a date with the loaded Team USA who defeated Mexico by 99 points.
Team Final's 8th Grade skipper Orlando Hildago feels this experience is great for Vilma, "I believe Dre getting a chance to play against the best young players in the world will help him gain confidence. Hopefully he can carry this momentum into high school and his future basketball endeavors" he finished.
