Matthew Johnson
Johnson gained just as much notoriety off the floor by helping to rescue his older brother during a drowning accident in June 2008 and by returning to basketball after being diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in May 2011 which was supposed to end his young career. The fact that he fought through the diagnosed and was able to get a scholarship shows his a tough kid and there’s a higher power. Congrats Matt and that comes from my heart, I’m so proud of you.
