The 7th Grade Top 10 has a new #1 and some other movement. Please remember these rankings are just our opinion and should be taken as such.
Basketball Spotlight 7th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. Metro Sixers: Metro Sixers jump to #1 after winning the loaded AC Showcase. They have shown to be the most consistent squad on the 7th Grade circuit. They are in great position for the Grand Finale final four. It was a joy watching them.
2. DC Assault: DCA moves up to #2 after making it to the finals of the AC Showcase. They also won the AAU PV title. They have a serious rivalry with neighboring Metro Sixers.
3. Team IZOD: The injury bug caused the “Supreme Team” to have a tough weekend at the AC Showcase. Once they return to full strength they should have a great chance to win the Grand Finale crown.
4. CIA Bounce: Bounce gave us some good moments this season and hopefully they will return to our circuit next fall.
5. Wall 2 Wall: The Allentown crew had a good showing at the AC Showcase before running into the National Champs. They are a dark horse for the Grand Finale crown so don’t sleep on them.
6. New Rens: NR had a tough time in AC. After being caught in the Super Pool they had an unexpected early exit in bracket play. I think they can rebound during the MDC.
7. Team Takeover: TT made a splash at the AC Showcase by making it to the final four. They had a tough loss to DC Assault but they did fight hard.
8. Mass Shooting Stars: They had their moments at the AC Showcase. Hopefully they can advance further during the MDC.
9. Gauchos: We haven’t seen the Choz in a while. We will be reaching out to them for their participation in the MDC.
10. Philly Pride: PP cracks the Top 10 after winning the Blue Division crown at the AC Showcase. They are a rugged bunch.
