The 6th Grade Top 10 had some movement but pretty much remained intact. The rankings are listed below and please remember this is just our opinion and should be taken as such.
Basketball Spotlight 6th Grade Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. Team IZOD: IZOD fell in the final four at the AC Showcase in a hard fought game against Team Nelson. Their overall body of work keeps them at the top spot but the gap is closing quickly. They will have a chance to spread the lead at the MDC.
2. Team Nelson: TN moves up the #2 after winning the stacked AC Showcase. Next up is the MDC where they will try to repeat as champions. They are also in great shape to return to the Grand Finale final four.
3. Metro Flyers: The Flyers lost in the final four at the AC Showcase. They have shown great promise but still haven’t captured their first banner. They are in contention for the Grand Finale final four and can better their seeding spot at the MDC.
4. ETU Select: The PV boys move up 3 spots after making it to the finals of the AC Showcase and winning the PV AAU Regional crown. Next up is the MDC where they will try to win the Gold Ball. They are also in contention for the Grand Finale.
5. Team Takeover: TT pulled out of the AC Showcase but had a good showing at the PV AAU Regional while taking home the silver medal. Hopefully we will see this bunch at the MDC.
6. CIA Bounce: I haven’t seen the Canada crew in a while. But they can always say they have a Spotlight banner. They won the Clash.
7. 6th Man Warriors: The Warriors showed tremendous heart this year. They gave us some great moments and hopefully they will return to the Spotlight soon.
8. MJ Mavericks: The holiday caused this tough group to take off the AC Showcase. Now they will be back into the heat during the MDC. Can’t wait to see them in action.
9. Team RIO: They will be returning to the Spotlight for the MDC. This is always a dangerous group.
10. RJS: The South Jersey crew cracks the Top 10 after winning the Blue Division of the AC Showcase. Now at the MDC they must move over with the big boys.
