Cameron Reddish (Team Final)
Team Final has become the pipeline for future stars. Sacramento Kings Tyreke Evans led the way and he was followed by Dion Waiters (Cleveland Cavaliers) and Mike Kidd-Gilchrist (Charlotte Bobcats). Rondae Jefferson and frosh phenom Tyus Battle are considered next in line, but the buck doesn’t stop there as the next prodigy seems to be Cameron Reddish of Eagleville, Pennsylvania. The 7th Grader has shown flashes during his time on the Spotlight circuit and most recently at the Maryland Invitational Tournament.
Coach Orlando Hildago is excited about having Reddish as a part of his program. “I like that he is very crafty with the ball as well as shoot the ball. This past weekend I saw him go to the basket with ease. His length presents a problem for most guards to check him. On the defensive side of the ball his size makes it hard for smaller guards to get past him. I think he has the potential to be very special” he finished.
Basketball Spotlight will keep you posted in the progress of Reddish. Cameron and his Team Final teammates will be making an appearance at the AC Showcase. Don’t miss the action.
