Skillcase Analysis: Skill wise John is very textbook and showed he was advanced in terms of Lancaster’s drills. During the games Venturi scored when he had the opportunity but preferred to play defense and get teammates involved. On defense he played the passing lanes and stripped a few ball handlers. I do think a more aggressive offensive game will help round out this young lad’s game.
