Tyler Jones has decided to attend The Pennington School next fall for high school. Tyler has been playing AAU basketball since the age of 7, starring for the Central Jersey Future Stars. He has received national attention from numerous scouting services as one of the top point guards in the class of 2016. Jones considered other Mercer County schools including Lawrence High School, Princeton Day School and The Lawrenceville School. Tyler stated that “It was important for me to stay close to home for high school. I liked the Pennington campus setting and felt right at home during my visits. I’m eager to take advantage of the many educational opportunities that Pennington has to offer in preparing me for college. As for basketball, I look forward to playing for an experienced mentor in Coach Gurick. Both Coach Gurick and I are very excited for me to contribute to a young, athletic team with a promising future.”
