The 13U Rankings remained constant. Many of the teams are headed to the MDC before going to the AAU National Championships. Remember these rankings are just our opinion and should be taken as such.
Basketball Spotlight 13U Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. CBC: The “Money Team” snatched the Providence Jam Fest crown and is headed to the DC Assault Classic next weekend. They are not scheduled for the MDC but they are a lock for the Grand Finale.
2. Milbank: They had some personnel issues going but “The Bank” remains open. They have planned to go to the MDC and should qualify for the Grand Finale.
3. Team Takeover: I haven’t seen Takeover since the MIT. They have the pieces to make a serious national title run in Memphis.
4. Team Final: TF just won the MID Atlantic Championship and will be headed to the MDC. They are in excellent shape to qualify for the Grand Finale.
5. Team IZOD: The Big Red Machine ran through the NJ State tournament but the competition will be thick for them at the MDC. A good showing to thrust them into the Grand Finale.
6. New Heights: NH made it to the finals of the Providence Jam Fest and will be entering the MDC.
7. DC Assault: We probably saw the last of this group and wish them good luck for the rest of the season.
8. East Coast Elite: I had high expectations for this squad coming into the season. Hopefully they can make a run at the MDC.
9. CT Elite: CT Elite won the Connecticut title after CBC forfeited to play in Providence. They also will be in the MDC.
