The 14U ranking has a new king. Remember these rankings are just our opinion and should be taken as such.
Basketball Spotlight 14U Top 10 Presented By AGame Team Apparel
1. Team Scan: TS returns to the top spot after defeating DC Assault at the Boo Williams tournament and winning the 14U Spring Fling crown. They are a lock for the Grand Finale and a favorite to take home that big banner.
2. DC Assault: “The MOBB” have been hobbling since Joe Hampton went down with an injury. We probably have seen the last of this group even if they qualify for the Grand Finale.
3. Playaz: After the Top 2 teams it’s a fall off and this is where the Playaz land. They are still chasing that elusive banner but recently registered for the MDC. That might be their shot.
4. ETU Warriors: The Warriors recently won the Potomac Valley title and have been playing some good ball lately. They are definitely a team that nobody really wants to run into.
5. Gauchos: The Choz jumped right back into the mix after winning the AC Showcase. Now they will try to gather some more points at the MDC and enter the Grand Finale through the backdoor.
6. King Street Kings: KSK had a good showing at Boo Williams and showed be a team to watch when the AAU Nationals come around.
7. St. Michaels: After winning the Blue Division of the Clash for the Cup they made it to the finals of the AC Showcase Orange Division. They are now playing at the level that many predicted when the season started.
8. East Coast Elite: ECE made it to the final four of the AC Showcase. They have been knocking on the door of a championship appearance and they have one more tournament to get it done.
9. Team Final: TF is still trying to find their identity. They are currently participating in the Mid Atlantic Regional’s before coming to the MDC.
10. New Rens: Time is running out on this super team project. We will see if they can capture a championship before the season ends.
