Nate Pierre Louis (Team IZOD)
The 13U Division ad some of the usual suspects putting in work at the Spotlight. Here’s Part 2 of our report of the top performers from Atlantic City.
AC Showcase 13U Top Performers Part 2
Nate Pierre Louis Guard (Team IZOD)- Nate “The Great” started out hot in Atlantic City posting 25 points apiece in his first two outings. His pull up jumper and baseline fade away looked pretty on the main floor. On day 2 after helping is team gut out a victory over New Heights he ran out of bullets versus Milbank in the final four.
David Kachleries Guard (Team IZOD)- David was on his game during this event. He was difficult to trap and saw the floor like a true guard. We’ve seen his confidence in his outside shot continue to rise these last few years. He competed very hard the entire weekend. His best game was a 14 point outing in their quarterfinal win over New Heights.
Matt Kachleries Guard (Team IZOD)- Matt also found the limelight especially during their game versus CT Elite. He torched the net for 20 points while being very productive from behind the arc. IZOD will need Matt to step up if they expect to return to the glory of last season.
Cameron Norman Guard (6th Man)- Norman continues to show they he’s one of the most complete guards in the region. He posted big numbers all weekend including an 18 points (4 trey) outing against Team Final. Mark my words he will be a serious problem for years to come.
Travis Cox Forward (Black Mamba’s)- According to reports Cox totally dominated the Blue Division. In one of their blow out wins he scored 24 points in one half. I didn’t get a chance watch him personally but I will soon. Promise you.
JP Sanders Guard (Team Final)- The strong lead guard helped Team Final make another final four run. He’s still in the learning process of running a team but makes up for it by being able to score the basketball. He as truly made some good strides during this Spotlight season.
Nick Alikasos Forward (Team Final)- Nick found his rhythm in their victory over 6th Man Warriors. Nick’s ability to face the basket and put the rock on the floor gives him an advantage over many defenders. He posted 16 points in the game we mentioned earlier.
Chris Coalman Forward (New Heights)- Coalman was a walking double-double. He posted 11 points a game while being very active inside. His length and quick leaping ability makes him a constant threat on the floor.
Donald Flores Guard (New Heights)- Flores provided a lot of the scoring for this bunch. He mainly attacks off the bounce and finishes well in the lane. He fits the bill of former New Height’s guards in terms of being strong and blue collared.
Kingsley Cockburn Guard (CT Elite)- Pruitt was a bright spot for CT Elite. He gracefully danced through the defense for buckets while also showing style. We will definitely be on the look out for more of his work at our next event.
