The Basketball Spotlight MDC 13U Division talent was so deep we decided to break it down by position. Here’s a breakdown of the top forwards that got busy this weekend.
Basketball Spotlight MDC 13U Top Forwards
Kylia Sykes Forward (Wilson Blue Devils)- I remember Sykes from the D2 Nationals last summer and he still has an impressive game. He demonstrated great athleticism and willingness to bang inside especially against the Gauchos. His lanky build indicates that he has a lot of growing to do which means he could blossom into a top notch prospect very soon.

Greg Fernando Forward (Expressions)- The lanky forward came up big in the championship game of the Blue Division. He dominated along the baseline and used his length to score.
Nick Brooks Guard (Playaz)- The high flying wing player and put up buckets in a hurry. He looks very good in transition and is willing to help out on the glass. Nick showed the ability to knockdown the deep ball especially in their pool matchup against F.A.C.E.S.. Brooks also has the ability to play above the rim and should become a good prospect.
