Breakdown: Ellison was tremendous in his Spotlight debut. He went to work early and often as his team mercy ruled King Street Kings 44-22 to win the MDC 11U Championship. That season the point guard dazzled crowds all around the country and took home 11U Player of The Year honors.
Since 2007 the Mr. Memorial Award has always been given to the MVP of the MDC. This year’s version of the Memorial Day Classic is stacked with players who would no doubt love to add this trophy to their collection. Will your name be added to this prestigious list? We will see at the end of May.
