The MD Panthers 6th grade team won their 2nd straight Potomac Valley regional championship beating DC Assault 50-29. Andre Boykin reestablished himself as the region's most dominant 6th grader with 18 pts and 17 rebs in the championship game. Along with the usual stalwarts, point guard Donovann Toatley and wing Raine McKeython, guards Travian Anderson, Kwincy Hall, and Trent Martin all made key contributions to the total team victory. The Panthers won 7 games on the 3 day weekend by an average of 24 points as they claimed the #2 seed for the 6th grade nationals scheduled for July in Hampton.
