I’ve been a basketball media person for over 10 years and I’ve never criticized another media person because of an article but this time I have to speak out. Today, I read an article on Hoop Scoop Online and was appalled at some of the statements editor Clark Francis had to say about some of the Class of 2015 players concerning his rankings. I believe as a scout or analyst you have the right to your opinion in which I respect but you also need to be mindful that these players are still actually kids with sensitive feelings. I really believe that some of these statements were totally out of hand and uncalled for. I was taught if you don’t have anything good to write about a player than don’t write anything at all.
