Markquis Nowell scored 12 points and Atiba Taylor added 6 points as the Gauchos defeated Riverside Hawks 30-23 to win the Grand Finale 11U Championship. Cameron Wynter finished with 7 points in the loss.

Atiba Taylor Guard (Gauchos)- Taylor size impacts the game in many areas. He’s able to rebound, see the floor and shoot over smaller defenders. It’s great that he is developing guard skills because they will help him in years to come.
Markquis Nowell Guard (Gauchos)- Nowell lead everyone in scoring with his quickness and ability to handle. This youngster is always in attack mode while possessing clever moves.
Cameron Wynter Guard (Riverside Hawks)- Wynter has to be one of the most exciting players in this divisions. He dribbles through the defenders and can shake their boots off. I can’t wait to see how he pans out.
Alston Tarry Guard (Riverside Hawks)- This little guy has good range from a player his size. He has the toughness to play among some of the quickest guards in the region.
