Marquise Irizarry Guard (New Heights)- The pint size floor general played an efficient and smart game. He stayed away from the Gauchos traps and made them pay for leaving him open. When he got a chance to push in transition he made the correct reads while spoon feeding teammates.
Hakeem Slue Brown Forward (New Heights)- Playing on his home middle school floor Hakeem’s motor was too much for the younger Gauchos too handle. He was relentless on the glass and converted off of misses. His strength and effort kept the Choz in trouble.
Jair Bolden Forward (New Heights)- Bolden finished with 15 markers and might have the most upside on this club. He gets up high on his pull up and currently stands about 6’3. Jair is very fundamentally sound but properly needs to get a little more physical.
Amanie Chraddock Guard (Gauchos)- Chraddock found the hot hand a little from the perimeter knocking down a couple of treys in rhythm. He also was able to finish off a few fast break opportunities. He does need to work not forcing the action to much in transition sometimes he tries to split the double teams which results into turnovers.
Nwanacho Nwana Forward (Gauchos)- Nwana once again attacked well from the free throw area in. He was able to convert and initiate contact from the defenders. But he has to take advantage of the opportunities at the charity stripe because he will be there a lot because of his style of play.
