NyRique Smith Guard (Gauchos)- Smith had a solid game in terms of setting up teammates and finding his own offense. “La Smoove” was just that especially finishing in transition and cashing in at the charity stripe (5 for 6). His instincts and feel for the game is that of a high school player and is future looks bright.
Mustapha Heron Forward (Gauchos)- Heron showed me some developing ball handling and ability to create. But when it was money time he hit the high post and operated from the triple threat. He looked like a miniature Chris Bosh when he displayed his face up game.
Lu Lu Chisolm Guard (Gauchos)- Chisolm concentrates on playing defense. He got low and plucked several WH ball handlers. He was at the head of the press and made his presence felt often. He also got a chance to chip in a couple of buckets.
DeMarcus Miller Guard (Westchester Hawks)- The strong built guard had some early success by whizzing through the Gauchos defense and extending for buckets. He’s skilled and has good size for his position. His day ended early after he fouled out on a technical foul that should not have been called in my opinion.
Kylan Guerra Guard (Westchester Hawks)- Guerra helped his team take an early lead by stroking the trey ball. He set up in the corner and drained the open look before the defense converged.
