Hello Basketball World,It’s your boy "Baby J-Kidd". Lol.... This week was about going over the basic and little details of the game. Monday Team Final had a game, we played against Trenton Catholic. We won by 6 points, we executed very well down the stretch and that’s how we got the win. Tuesday, Team Final had practice; we went over the basic things like footwork, setting screens, and defense. Wednesday Team Final had our first play-off game; we started off very slow and were down 13 to 2. We trailed the entire game because we weren't playing defense and they were out rebounding us. Down to the last five minutes we started playing hard nose defense. We got into the passing lanes causing numerous turnovers. I made a lay-up to tie the game up 47- 47. When we got position again it was 1:08 left and we held the ball under 10 seconds. Then Sam had the ball, he drove kicked the ball out to Malachi and he knock down the game winning three. We won 50 to 47.
Thursday, Team Final had practice and we went over a lot of plays and got a lot of shots up. Friday, I had a game at Aztecs Future Legends League. We played against the Aztecs 15's. We lost by 11, but played good being under sized. The game was up tempo and very physical. Saturday, I went to the barbershop to get a shape-up because it was getting ugly. Lol.... Team Final had another light practice later on and we were working on getting the plays down pack with the new additions on our team. Sunday you know I chilled out and watched sports. I watched my old head Dion Waiters (Syracuse) go at Canisuis. Til next week remember "Once you quit it becomes a habit".
