Ronshad Allen-Shabazz traveled from Raleigh, North Carolina to Burlington, NJ to prove himself at the Basketball Spotlight Super Showcase. The youngster didn’t waste the gas as he left as one of the top wing players in attendance. He scored at will against some of the top players on the East Coast. We had a chance to holler at Allen-Shabazz and here’s our One on One.
One On One
BS: What school do you attend?
RAS: Princeton Day Academy.
BS: Who’s your favorite player?
RAS: Kevin Durant because I love his perimeter skills and ability to score.
BS: What’s the strongest part of your game?
RAS: My midrange jumper.
BS: What part of your game needs the most work?
RAS: Going hard right and my long range shooting.
BS: What’s your dream college?
RAS: Clemson, I just love their basketball program and enjoy watching them.
BS: How was your Super Showcase experience?
RAS: It was great because the competition was good. There’s always better competition up there that’s why we don’t mind taking that long drive.
BS: What was your best game?
RAS: At the Basketball Spotlight Atlantic City Showcase I scored 29 points against Montgomery County.
BS: Who’s the best you have faced?
RAS: I would say Jabari Greenwood (Team Takeover) and Donovan Mitchell (The City).
BS: What’s your career goal?
RAS: To play in the NBA or become an engineer.
