Isaiah Whitehead came into this season with a lot of hype and pressure. Everyone was calling him the next great one from NYC. In my opinion the talented shooting guard handled the pressure and excelled in many ways. Isaiah won MVP at the Clash For The Cup among many other events while also taking home All Tournament honors at the Grand Finale. His play led Juice to a #5 finish in the country while only losing 3 games the entire season. Whitehead has been selected to represent the North team in the Basketball Spotlight J.E.M. All Star Classic August 28th at St. Benedicts Preparatory School.
The J.E.M. All Star Classic will bring together the top rising 9th Graders in the region for a day of competition and celebration. The players in this event were selected by our committee and have been notified. During halftime of this event Basketball Spotlight will be presenting several awards for teams and players that have performed well this past season. Stay tune as Basketball Spotlight will release other top players that have been selected for this event.
