Alterique Gilbert Guard (Richmond Gold)- NJGG had no answer for this kid. His crazy handled allowed the lane to open like a freeway. He also hit several deep outside shots to give his team breathing room. This guard was a pleasant surprise for me.
Jeremy Sheppard Guard (Richmond Gold)- Sheppard is Gilbert’s backcourt mate and also has an outstanding handle. He uses the floater nicely and dribbles his way out of traps. He’s small in stature but has a huge game.
Kier Townsend Forward (Richmond Gold)- Townsend hammered points from the midrange area and on the blocks. He’s a little undersized but the lefty uses his strength to compensate. He’s a Charles Oakley type.
Idris Joyner Forward (NJGG)- Joyner played like one of the top post players in the building. He ate every rebound and was unstoppable under the tin. He’s running the floor better these days while also being a force on defense. His 19 points seemed like 30.
Jagan Mosley Guard (NJGG)- Mosely’s offensive game has definitely improved. He handled the rock with confidence and stroked the outside shot. He was previously known as a defensive stopper but has now become an offensive threat.
