Mr. Memorial Day
Jabari Greenwood Forward (Team Takeover)- Greenwood is a great addition to TT. He’s long, wiry and has good touch from the perimeter. His length caused problems for the opponents on both ends of the floor. He has big time prospect written all over his frame.
Bryant Crawford Guard (Team Takeover)- It was road to redemption for Crawford because he got injured at his last Spotlight event. Well the silky two-guard made up for lost time. He continues to be a match up problem for smaller guards and slower perimeter defenders. He has a quiet demeanor but his game speaks loudly.
Tonny Blackwell Forward (Team Takeover)- Blackwell returned and brought a lot of energy for his squad. He played the passing lanes well on defense and is handling the rock a lot more on the perimeter. He’s shaping out into a nice wing guard.
Bobby Martin Jr. Forward (KYDA)- Martin was a big pickup for KYDA. He has soft hands, good footwork and good and good touch near the tin. He was hungry on the glass as he snatched several rebounds. He’s another budding prospect.
Chris Atkinson Guard (KYDA)- Atkinson looked very comfortable this weekend running the show. He’s very explosive end to end and will drain the 3 ball if he is left open. The roster change for KYDA has Chris in a flow now.
Bryce Aiken Guard (KYDA)- Aiken shot the rock well this tournament. I like how he picked his spots to drive but also took care of the rock. Once he gets his outside shot dropping it makes his floater that much deadlier. He specializes in using the floater.
Temple Gibbs Guard (KYDA)- Gibbs blistered Richmond Phenom in the semifinals nailing 5 treys. He also knows to how to use his body to get trips to the charity stripe. In the finals he found the rhythm early by knocking down 3 treys in the first half.
