Will Team Final Continue Their Dominance?This weekend Basketball Spotlight will be traveling over to Tri-State Sports Complex for the Mid Atlantic AAU Final Four. The 13U Division has some top talent and should have a couple of good matchups.
Mid Atlantic AAU Preview 13U Division
Team Final: TF continues to be the most dominant force in the region. This weekend they will be headed into another battle. Defensively they are very physical and possess some of the top talent in the country. They are a tough out for any team in a one game situation.
Philly Aztecs: PA has had a remarkable year. They won a few tournaments and made some serious noise in a few Spotlight events. They have a tough semifinal draw against TF and I think the winner of this one might win it all. This should be a good one.
Team Rebels: The Rebels are another team on the rise. Their gritty style has helped them knock off a few good teams and advance to this point. Just having Tavon White gives them a shooting chance of bringing home the championship.
Peacemakers: I haven’t seen this squad this year but if my memory serves me right they will be a rugged bunch. Last season they made some noise on the 12U level. We will be watching this weekend.
Clash Of The Titans Heads 13U Semifinals!The top prospects in the region will face off in the 13U Mid Atlantic AAU semifinals. Trevaughn Wilkerson of Team Final and Horace Spencer of Philly Aztecs will lock horns at 11:40 AM. This battle will give us a good look into the future. I can’t wait to see these two youngsters get it on!
