AC Showcase Top Performers: 10U Division (Baby Ballers)

Shelton Applewhite Scored Big This Weekend!

The 10U Division featured many top Baby Ballers. We got a chance to check them out on the main floor. Here’s a breakdown of some of the top 10U players in the building.

Baby Baller Top Performers

Shelton Applewhite Forward (Natural Ballers)- Applewhite put up some serious numbers especially against Playtime. He finished the game scoring 22 of his teams 26 points. His size played a huge role in this game.

Justin Rodriquez Guard (Natural Ballers)- Rodriquez plays either guard spot and has a slick handle. He used a couple of slick moves to shake defenders loose. He scores the rock well and should be a name to remember in the future.

Kenneth Jones Guard (Natural Ballers)- Jones is another scoring guard with this bunch. He gets to the basket and uses a floater to score. He is strong for this level and has to moves to get things done.

Jakeim Tanksley Guard (Natural Ballers)- Tanksley is the heart and soul of this squad. He’s not a scorer but a pure point guard that takes pride in playing defense. This kid goes hard.

Trajon White Forward (CBC)- White is a big guy and dominated on the blocks. He can score down low but also run the floor like a guard. He should grow to be a huge player down the road.

Jaquan Williams Guard (CBC)- Williams is a ultra quick guard that pushes the rock with great flair. He looked very good in transition and was a total pest on defense. This youngster gets up and down the floor quickly.

Justin Kea Guard (Playtime Panthers)- Kea scored a game high 24 points against the Natural Ballers and made it look easy. He continued his great play that helped his team win the NJ State crown.

Jalen Brooks Guard (Playtime Panthers)- The southpaw point guard runs the show for the Green and Black. He sliced through the defense and made good decisions with the pill. He’s a heady guard.

Chauncey Sterling Forward (Team NJ ABC)- Sterling was one the high scorer for his team over the weekend. I like how he hits the glass and scores in transition. He is a very tough competitor and it shows on the floor.

Erza Jones Forward (Team NJ ABC)- Jones saved his best game for their showdown with Playtime. He scored 22 of his teams 38 points in their one point victory. This kid got hot on the main floor.

Jayson Robinson Guard (Fastbreak)- Robinson led the scoring attack for the NY squad. His ball handling and speed was too much for most of the defenders to control.
