Garner Selects Roman Catholic

Shepard Garner one of the top prospects in the region has decided to attend Roman Catholic of Philadelphia in the fall. The power guard has been a star for Youth Interlock the last two seasons and is projected to have a bright future. The reigning Player of The Year made his Spotlight debut at the Clash For The Cup while leading his team to the finals and taking home the Sportsmanship Award. His father and AAU coach Shep Garner Sr. feels Roman Catholic is the right fit. “First of all I love their tradition and their commitment to winning. I also love the fact that they have a young coaching staff that can relate to the young kids coming in. Finally, I feel the discipline of their program will help my son take his game to another level” said Garner.

Before Garner reaches Roman Catholic he is focused on helping #2 Youth Interlock win an AAU National Title. We will keep you posted on their progress.
