Team Final: This is the Most Wanted team in the region. Right now they are the measuring stick for other programs but don’t expect them to back down anytime soon. They are dominant in many aspects and they should be there when the smoke clears this weekend.
The City: No other squad has felt as many heartbroken losses to TF as The City. Last year in this very tournament they came up short and now they are hungry to get over the hump. Their versatility will be a major factor in the tournament this weekend.
KYDA: KYDA will be on the hunt to win their first Spotlight crown. They have some exciting guards and word is Manny Taylor might be suiting up this weekend. They are on a clear collision course with Team Final in the championship.
NJ Got Game: This is one of the hottest teams in the region. They just won the 14U Chip at the MLK Classic and now they want a piece Team Final. They will get their wish if both teams make it to the semifinals.
Team Battle (12U): This is a brave leap for the 12U Kingpins. Right now they feel like they need the challenge of a higher age bracket. Well they will get what they asked for and it should be interesting.
King Street Kings (12U): KSK also felt like they are ready to take the plunge. It will be interesting to see if they could handle the speed and strength of playing up in this intense event.
Mid Jersey Heat: The Heat showed some promise in Massachusetts now they are back in the jungle and must find their way out. Their guard play is solid and should keep them in a few games.
