The 14U Division is one of the most interesting in the region. There’s a lot of parity among the teams and the games are very intense. Here’s a look at our Top 10. Our rankings are based on team performance in quality events and who we feel are the Top 10 teams. Remember this is just our opinion and should be taken as such.
Basketball Spotlight 14U Top 10 Presented By AGame Apparel
1. Starrett City: AKA Juice All Stars won the Grand Finale and Funsport. Right now they are definitely the team to beat.
2. Youth Interlock: The #1 Team in the Mid Atlantic Region should be making their Spotlight debut at the Clash For The Cup.
3. Team Scan: Scan got tripped up over the MLK weekend by NE Playaz in the Final Four of the Jr. Hoophall Classic. Look for them to rebound with a good showing at the Clash For The Cup.
4. Team Nelson: It will be interesting to see how TN will come back after losing their first Spotlight event (Grand Finale). The Clash has added some heavy hitters so they better be ready to bang.
5. Team Underrated: I like some of the pieces within this squad. They will not be attending the Clash but I’m sure we will see them very soon.
6. Team NJ ABC: I think these boys are hungry for a title. They are not coming to the Clash so the next will see will probably be the state tourney.
7. AGame Elite: AGame Elite will be in the building for the Clash. I’m interested in seeing what they are bringing to the table.
8. NJ Pirates: The Pirates continue to impress. They made it to the finals of Funsport after getting past a few good squads. We will get a chance to see them again at the Clash.
9. Philly Aztecs: I got a chance to watch this squad in Massachusetts and left very impressed. Keep an eye on them and expect them to move up the ladder.
10. New England Playaz: I also saw this squad in Massachusetts was very impressed. They possess one of the top prospects in the region.
