The 13U Division had some moment but most of the same teams remain in the Top 10. The chase for Team Final seems to be on and a lot of questions will be answered at the Clash For The Cup. Our rankings are based on team performance in quality events and who we feel are the Top 10 teams. Remember this is just our opinion and should be taken as such.
Basketball Spotlight 13U Top 10 Presented By AGame Apparel
1. Team Final: Tyreke Evans’s squad remains on top of this age group. The Clash For The Cup is coming and look for TF to defend their crown. Teams are lining up to test their chin.
2. KYDA: The newcomers got the nod for the #2 spot after winning the New Year’s Brawl. They want another shot at Team Final and their wish might come true at the Clash For The Cup.
3. The City: The NYC boys lost in the semifinals of the New Year’s Brawl. They had some player movement early but expect them to gel very soon.
4. Team Takeover: TT held on to their slot. They are not coming to the Clash but we will probably catch them at the AC Showcase or MDC.
5. Gauchos: Science’s crew is always ready to rock. We hope to see them very soon. They have a talented bunch.
6. NJ Got Game: This crew moved up after finishing runner up at the New Year’s Brawl and winning the 14U Division at the MLK Classic. Keep an eye on this squad.
7. Philly Aztecs: The Aztecs continue to impress with a championship at the Jr. Hoophall Classic. This is a squad many don’t want to play.
8. F.A.C.E.S.: The Boys In Black won the MLK Classic and should be coming to the Clash. It should be interesting to see them in two weeks.
9. Team Delaware Select: This crew brings the top talent in the First State for this age group. They play extremely hard and are capable of knocking anyone off at anytime.
10. Linden: This hard-nosed squad caps off our Top 10. They are always willing for a dog fight so be ready when you them on your schedule.
