BABC Champs At Hall Of Fame Classic
John Joseph and Jalen Adams combined for 36 points as BABC defeated DC Assault 12’s 66-59 to win the Best Of The Best Hall Of Fame Classic 13 and Under title. Isiah Buck-Lowman finished with 16 points for DC Assault in the loss.
Spotlight Players
John Joseph Guard (BABC)- Joseph was outstanding again today. He plays at a different speed than others on the floor and has enough power and skill to finish off his plays. He gets end to end in a blur and has the courage to pull shots 15 feet behind the 3 point line. He’s a serious competitor.
Tyree Robinson Forward (BABC)- Robinson brought the intensity again on both ends of the floor. He had two thunderous dunks in the open floor and again controlled the glass in the paint. I did notice that he will have to extend his game by putting the rock on the floor a little more and developing an outside shot.
Jalen Adaris Guard (BABC)- Adaris was hot once again from the outside knocking down several shots including two from behind the arc. Jalen also can create his own shot off the bounce and displays good court vision. He’s an exciting player to watch.
Franklin Howard Guard (DC Assault 12’s)- Howard started off hot with some hot shooting from the perimeter and some sweet dishes to teammates. You have to love this kid’s demeanor and skill level on the floor. He never seems out of control and usually makes the correct decision on the floor.
Isiah Buck-Lowman Forward (DC Assault 12’s)- It was a real joy to watch Buck-Lowman. The versatile forward is extremely smooth and can post up or attack from the perimeter. I’ve watched a lot of 6th Graders this year and he has to be one of the best I’ve seen.
