Spotlight Performers
John Davis Forward (Peacemakers)- JD gave his team some breathing room in the 4th quarter with a couple of 3 point plays the old fashion way. His power inside made the difference for his team down the stretch. He’s one of the most improved players in the region.
Jabril Chandler Forward (Peacemakers)- Chandler was a hand full all weekend. His soft touch and array of post moves baffled defenders. He probably could have scored more points but sometimes he loves to show his range from the perimeter which is good for him down the road.
Aaron McGlawn Guard (Peacemakers)- Aaron joined “The Bullies” after the AC Showcase and has been a great addition. He gives them a strong point guard to run the team and defend the position. Yesterday McGlawn looked good finishing in transition and dropping in the floater.
Britton Lee Guard (Peacemakers)- The explosive guard has been on the shelf for a while because of tendonitis in his knee. This weekend you could still see he wasn’t 100% yet but he still was able to contribute to the team’s success. I hope he returns to form by the time they reach the Nationals.
Basil Malik Guard (Hockessin Cougars)- This southpaw speedster pushes the rock like a blur the entire 94 feet which places pressure on the defense. He has a shoot first mentality but sometimes he can get a little out of control on drives. Overall his energy is something any coach could be proud of.
