Kaison Randolph (Team MVP)
Wade Baldwin scored 12 points and Nazier Chew added 10 markers but it wasn’t enough as Team MVP defeated Team NJ ABC 41-36 to win the Clash For The Cup Trenton Challenge. Kaison Randolph and Isiah York combined for 17 points for the victors.
Kaison Randolph Forward (Team MVP)- Randolph wasn’t as dominant on the offensive end as he was at the MLK Classic but he still got it done on the boards and on defense. Team NJ didn’t really have an inside presence so Kaison took full advantage.
Isiah York Forward (Team MVP)- York also helped out on the glass and bullied his way for a few easy buckets. He can handle the rock so he is also a threat in transition when he is pushing the rock. In this event he just made plays.
Nazier McCoy Guard (Team MVP)- McCoy was the outside threat Team MVP needed when ABC went zone. He’s an accurate shooter or can also penetrate the gaps and put pressure on the defense. He’s a capable guard when he puts his mind to it.
Wade Baldwin Guard (Team NJ ABC)- His squads lack of a big man caused Baldwin to play along the baseline. So the youngster had to get his points while slashing to the cup or getting loose balls. He still had an effect on the game.
Nazier Chew Guard (Team NJ ABC)- When Chew was inserted into the game he gave his team a shot of energy. He’s very experienced on this age level and was able to get anywhere he wanted on the floor. He has take over the game potential but needed to finish off a few more plays near the cup.
Shaquan Worthy Guard (Team NJ ABC)- Worthy also changed the concept of the game once he entered. His defensive pressure and court vision gave his team an instant spark. The pint size blur plays the game with great aggression.
